Final Fantasy OC: Abel Irving

His Story:

He is a trustworthy, responsible man. Raised by his father Magus Irving, the paladin who has defeated the Eternal Darkness, and his sister Felicia Irving, the powerful red mage who joined the army after Abel can take care of himself. He learn the way of the warrior three years before he turned 21 from a tragic event that has changed his life that also gave him a scar. A few months after he turned 21 he was going to ask his girlfriend, Bethany, her hand in marriage, but his life was turned up-side-down when his best friend named Malick went ballistic and murdered Bethany in cold blood with a long sword he has stolen from his father. Malick charged at Abel so he tried to defend himself with a rusted pipe and before he could do anything, Malick gave him a scar on his right cheek that you see. Abel fought back but he was seriously wounded, but when Malick tries to jump on him and stab Abel through the heart he was stabbed instead, not by Abel but his father Magus. Magus killed Malick and healed Abel, but it was too late for Bethany. Bethany's sister, Serah, told him that she hated him for not protecting his sister and said, "If I ever see you again, I will kill you."

Three years later he has been training everyday with a wooden sword that he has made for training and sparring against Kota Aisenwald, his closet friend that he considers his brother, so he can protect his friends and love ones from evil just like his father. But why doesn't he have magic you ask? Is it because he doesn't have the capability to summon one? Or is it because he can't let the past go and brings grief to his heart? Nobody knows, even his own sister doesn't know, but there is one person out there that knows the truth...

One fateful night when he was hunting a strange, mysterious girl ran into him and there were soldiers that wants to capture her dead or alive. He protected the girl and defeated the soldiers and yelled, "Don't come back to the Island you hear me!" he then reached down to the girl and helped her. He offered her a place to stay, but a strange monster has attacked the girl and she blacked out. Fearing that he might lose someone again, he fought the hideous monster, but something has happened to him during the fight. His blade has glowed blue and with each hit his speed and strength has increased and with that the monster has been killed. Abel doesn't know what has happened to him, but it wasn't important right now. He saw the girl with a nasty gash on her side, he carried her to the healer in his village and she was healed but she is knocked out through the whole night because of the creature that attacked them. Later that morning the girl woke up, with a really big relief he was glad that he saved her in time, but at the same time the same Corde soldiers show up again looking for her. Because of this the girl has decide to put her trust in him and thus she reveal to Able that she is Princess Lydianna Ballard, the next heir to rule Corde and she explained of how she was framed from a crime that she didn't do, and is the same princess that he saved since they were kids from kidnappers back at Corde Castle. Abel said that he is more than willingly to help her clear her name, so they both set off on their journey to clear Lydia's name and find his father for his help.

Abel does not have an Eidolon right now, but later in the story he will.

His weapon of choice is a sword, some times he can use his sword backhanded and uses Swordplay.
